La cantante Katy Perry se llevó el premio al vídeo del año por Firework, además de premios como los de mejor colaboración y efectos especiales por su trabajo junto a Kanye West en E.T. Aunque la gala de los MTV VMAs 2011 (Video Music Awards 2011) nos dejó una extensa lista de premiados entre los que encontramos a Lady Gaga, Britney Spears o Justin Bieber.
